All aspects of single and multiphase flow measurement design, metering consultancy, FAT, allocation & uncertainty budget calculations, calibration, and audits.
Measurement systems must meet standards laid down by regulatory authorities, oil companies, and/or pipeline operators. GEC measurement and metering consultants will ensure that all the statutory and contractual obligations are met on new or modified metering systems. We will support you through all stages of your metering project from feasibility to acceptance. Typical services include:
- Metering system specification, design, and project management.
- Engineering: flow metering, allocation, auditing, measurement studies, and uncertainty calculation.
- Multiphase flow measurement system: feasibility, selection, specification, and uncertainty of multiphase meters.
- Flow computer concept design, configuration, and upgrades.
- Metering system commissioning, calibration, and operation services.
- Perform FAT/SAT for new MPFMs and other measurement systems before shipment.
- Develop measurement manual and operating/maintenance procedures for existing and new measurement facilities, quality monitoring equipment, and flow computers.
- Participate in metering test programs and field trials, and review test reports to develop clients’ understanding of the next generation of technology that is likely to apply to multiphase flow measurement.
